Sarah Gordon

Sarah Gordon is a British artist and textile designer living on BainbridgeIsland, WA in the middle of the Puget Sound and is lucky to work from herhome art studio which is a two block walk from the local beach. She’s therealmost every day with her children beach combing and collecting inspiration.After completing a Fashion Textile degree she moved to New York to designin-house for a range of textile and fashion companies before co-owning a longrunning textile studio producing seasonal collections of prints. She is greatlyinfluenced by the simplicity and boldness of abstract art with the quirkinessof antique botanical illustrations and enjoys finding a way to combine thesepolar opposites in her designs.
