The BERNINA Elasticator Foot is designed to hold elatic as it is stitched to fabric. Useful for sportswear, swimwear, lingerie and home dec. An adjustable roller applies constant tension to the elastic , stretching it as it is serged to the fabric. Elastic is fed through the front opening, under the roller and out the back of the foot. The tension on the elastic is adjusted by turning the screw on the top of the foot.
The Elasticator Foot for the L450/L460 accomodates elastics up to a wideth of 1/2".
The Elasticator Foot for the L850/L860/L890 accomodates elastics up to a wideth of 3/4".
